Hello! I am so glad you are here.

I know how important it is to pick a provider that is the right fit for your child and your family, so let me share a little about myself.

My Journey & Passion

I have always loved working with kids and was naturally drawn to the world of children's mental health during my undergraduate program.

  • Through my experiences at a children's residential facility, I learned that I wanted to pursue a career in child and family therapy.

  • I chose a Master's program that allowed me to graduate with additional training in play therapy so I could focus on my passion.

I have been working with children and families since 2008 in a variety of settings, including schools, residential care, and community mental health. After graduating from my Master's program, I deepened my focus on early childhood mental health, which is a true passion of mine.

My Focus & Approach

I specialize in helping children ages 0-10 and their caregivers to address mental health concerns.

I believe that true healing happens when we address the root cause of a challenge, which in turn can resolve and decrease concerning behaviors or mood disturbances. We will work collaboratively to create lasting change, helping your family not only overcome current challenges but also develop the skills to thrive in the future. In practice this looks like:

  • Creating a safe space for children to express themselves and feel a sense of belonging.

  • Empowering parents with the skills to support their child's mental health.

  • Considering the full context of a child’s life, including trauma history, attachment style, societal status/demographics, and age/developmental period.

Sessions & Logistics

My sessions are flexible and tailored to your family's unique needs:

  • Working with your child individually.

  • Working with your child and caregiver(s) in session.

  • Caregiver-only sessions.

  • Collaborating with other providers involved in your child's care (e.g., teachers, pediatricians, occupational therapists).

  • Exploring options for additional treatment or referrals to other providers.

I see clients Monday through Friday at my office in Bethany Village or virtually via a secure online platform.

I look forward to partnering with you and your family to build a strong foundation for well-being.
